Hardwood windows and doors from Atrium are not just a necessary replacement but a full upgrade and often a complete restyle at the same time.
At Atrium we build windows and doors from quality hardwood which will meet your exact specifications. We are frequently asked to manufacture items for Listed Buildings. We understand the restrictions placed on owners who live in such homes and we have the experience to satisfy the many requirements imposed. Hardwood windows and doors leave our factory fully finished in Heritage colours, stained natural wood finishes, or painted in a range of other colours (even with different colours on the inside and outside). All finishes are microporous and have been selected because they require a minimum of subsequent maintenance.
Glazed panels in windows or doors are double-glazed, silicon sealed and energy rated for your reassurance. Weathersealing with quality components ensure your home is fully weatherproofed. Quality fittings are always used and all of the hinges and locking mechanisms are also chosen to give a reassuring high level of security whilst maintaining a particular “style”.
Each window or door is custom made (bespoke), so there are virtually no restrictions on the features which can be included. Any design of glazing bars: gothic, "chapel" style, arched and virtually any other shape. Double-glazed, hardwood windows and doors retain warmth in the home and provide a welcome opening on those few hot summer days. A new double-glazed, hardwood front door will enhance the impression your home projects to the outside world (in commercial terms: “enhanced kerb appeal”).
Quality, longevity and durability are hallmarks of Atrium products. As a FENSA registered company we comply with thermal performance standards so you may be assured that your Atrium windows and doors will both meet, and exceed all current standards. The microporous finish applied to each item before it leaves the factory will ensure that only minimal future maintenance is needed.

This is where we start and the work that takes place underpins all that we do. This process is about an in depth discovery of who you are and how you live – getting to know you and your requirements so that your design is totally tailored to you, adding personality to the project.
We will meet you to discuss your requirements - this will include a site survey and discussion concerning design and budget of the project.
We will design a project and produce drawings, detailed costings and a full specification.
A detailed quotation (normally fixed price) based upon the design proposed will be supplied. There is no obligation to purchase and no charge for this service.
Once you have placed your order we will deal with any “planning” or listed building matters on your behalf, alternatively you may decide to deal with these matters yourself. Planning permission is generally not required.
Once the formalities have been completed our building division will proceed with the building works unless you arrange this work yourself. We are happy to supply full and detailed information for your builder to carry out this function.
Once the building works are complete we will carry out a site survey. Manufacture sizes, the colour, furniture, moulding and glass specifications will be noted at the same time.
Your project will be manufactured in one of our factories. You are welcome to visit us as manufacture progresses (please call or email to arrange a visit).
Installation will be carried out by our own direct employed workforce. The completed installation will be signed off by the team involved. Alternatively, one of our surveyors can be requested.
Upon payment of the final invoice your guarantee and aftercare advice will be posted to you and you are finally left to enjoy the building you have been waiting for.
